I am the queen of wearing the same pair of pants day in and day out. For years, my go-to have been raw denim. After Pivotte sent me a pair of the Bravi pants in the mail, my life changed.
I was a big fan of the Outlier Daily Riding Pants from a few years ago, but those never fit me very well. There were quality issues, and soon after I got a pair, they discontinued all their women’s stuff. I went back to wearing my same ol’ stinky, stiff denim jeans. Leggings hid in my backpack for days where I hit the gym after work.
With the introduction of the Bravi pants, my life changed! These are pants designed to move with you, wherever you are. The Bravi pants are not athleisure.
The 4-way stretch fabric is so comfortable, they feel just like leggings. They retain their shape. You don’t have to worry about saggy spots in all the places you move the most. The Bravi pants are cut high to hold in all my fluffy bits, and to keep body parts from falling out.
Additionally, these shed water, chalk, dirt, wine, coffee, and cat hair like no other. You can go from a morning climbing session to work, without changing. You might need to brush the chalk off though.
Lastly, let’s talk about pockets. Women’s pants are notorious for not being able to hold anything other than chapstick. Maybe your phone, if you’re lucky. With these stretchy pockets, I have iPhone XS, in either front or back pockets. My wallet fits in my back pocket. It’s an actual miracle.
The Pivotte Bravi pants come in two styles: straight legged and cropped. I have both. There’s no real difference between the two except for tailoring. I much prefer the cropped version for my short, stubby legs. (For reference, I am 5′ tall with a tiny torso.)
The Pivotte Bravi Pants retail for $200 and are available via their website. Each piece is designed & made in New York City.
